whale Watching TOUR in rio de janeiro
From June to August, Rio de Janeiro welcomes humpback whales during their migration along the Brazilian coast, offering a unique opportunity to observe these ocean giants in their natural habitat.
We set out in a small group for a 5 to 6 hour journey at sea, in search of whales along their migratory route. More than a boat trip, we offer a full ocean immersion experience, taking in the landscapes of Rio's coastline and discovering the richness of marine life.
On board, we are joined by a marine biologist who accompanies the sightings and shares insights on whale behavior, their migration and the importance of conservation.
We follow a responsible observation approach, in partnership with and certified by the Amigos da Jubarte project, a Brazilian scientific research and conservation program dedicated to the study and protection of humpback whales.
Tourism, research and environmental education:
We turn every encounter at sea into an opportunity to better understand the ocean and inspire the desire to protect it. Our on-board marine biologist collects scientific data on whales behavior, contributing directly to ongoing research and conservation efforts.
